A battery pack is a set of any number of (preferably) identical batteries or individual battery cells. They may be configured in a series, parallel or a mixture of both to deliver the desired voltage, capacity, or power density. - Wikipedia.

This design is for electric 2 wheeler with capacity of 2.2kWh. The pack consists of 21700 cells in a matrix of 20S6P. The specification is derived from the application, a requirement of 70km range with kerb weight of approx. 100kg. The design is with aluminium die cast so the the enclosure can withstand high discharge rate upto 1C.

Steady State Thermal Analysis at 0.2C
The design is able to work at 0.2C, since the maximum temperature is not exceeding the limits.​​​​​​​

The design is able to work at 0.5C, since the maximum temperature is not exceeding the limits.​​​​​​​
Steady State Thermal Analysis at 1C
The maximum temperature is exceeding the temperature limits. The design is unable to dissipate heat generated efficiently at 1C. The design should have more fins to dissipate the heat or forced air cooling should be done to maintain temperature limits.
