MYSTERY
Everyone around me is comfortable,
lives comfortably, in a comfortable cage.
They eat and work leisurely.
Predictable, convenient payment, regular feeding.
I observed birds today.
I heard birds during my walk.
They spoke sharply and sadly.
The sound came from a cage placed in an open window.
Birds in captivity.
It's a mystery why we accept and set each other in captivity.
