[Projeto de Subvertising] The Hype of Capitalist Culture é um manifesto e campanha ativista, desenvolvido com o intuito de criticar a emergente cultura capitalista e a sua aliciação com a hype culture. A cultura capitalista, fortemente implícita na sociedade envolvente, nos seus hábitos e comportamentos, tornou-se conceitualmente uma cultura onde o capital é prioridade. Atualmente a posse monetária pessoal define o estatuto social, cultural e educacional de todas as pessoas. A nossa vida e a forma como a vivemos está, automaticamente, condicionada pelo dinheiro, tanto individual como coletivo, comandando a vida em sociedade e fomentando a cultura corporativa, as desigualdades e o consumismo desmedido. Este manifesto conta com a criação de diversos cartazes, onde prevaleceu a manipulação de notas (tanto do Dólar como do Euro), enaltecendo a sobrevalorização do dinheiro e expondo-o aos olhos da sociedade.
[Subvertising Project] The Hype of Capitalist Culture is a manifest and activist campaign developed with the aim of criticising the emerging capitalist culture and its enticement with hype culture. Capitalist culture, which is strongly embedded in the surrounding society, its habits and behaviours, has conceptually become a culture where capital comes first. Today, the personal possession of money determines the social, cultural and educational status of all people. Our lives and the way we live them are automatically determined by money, both individually and collectively, which dominates life in society and promotes corporate culture, inequalities and excessive consumption. Several posters were created as part of this manifesto, focusing on the manipulation of banknotes (both the Dollar and the Euro), praising the overvaluation of money and exposing it in the eyes of society.
