Final logo chosen for the NBA D-League's Iowa Energy. Below is the process I went through as the team as deciding on their name. All work created in under 24 hours. Coffee. Lots of coffee.
Potentially the team was to be called the Iowa Scarecrows.
Or, maybe the Haymakers.
Or, the Iowa Clutch.
Or... how about the Invasion?
Then, the team was thinking that perhaps the Des Moines Demons would work.
So I went for some Demons...
And fire...
Ultimately, the name Iowa Energy is what stuck. So, I explored different ways to communicate Energy. Who better than Albert, right?
Energy can be many things, as I was told. Fire, water, fusion, atomic....
Angry corn. That's always a good route!
