Winged Elves
A series of mock posters

This is my artwork of a series of posters for university application.

Born in an environment where many old people love keeping birds as pets, I have great affection for these cute creatures.

The first time I got to wild birds was my childhood experience of making nests for birds in the countryside. I hoped that the bird nests I made could provide a warm place for wild
birds. I spent a lot of time making them, and fortunately, there were traces of little birds in these nests.

Since then, I have begun to think about the relationship between wild birds and human beings. Domestic birds have lost their freedom to fly forever, although they are raised by human beings and have a comfortable life; what human
beings yearn for birds is to make them fly freely — how ironic it is. Later, I never kept birds in cages, but tried to protect wild birds as much as possible through my actions, because they are also important members of our blue planet.

In this project, I made mock posters for Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) to publicize the protection of birds and their habitats and popularize public knowledge and awareness by creating illustrations, so as to guide the public to know more about birds, and then attach importance to the protection of bird biodiversity.
