I was awarded first prize in the 2017 competition for the new visual layout of the promotional material for the 5th International High School Festival, Theater Creation "Juventafest". The promotional material included billboards, brochures, and other materials. The brief called for a modern and theatrical character that would effectively capture the essence of high school students.

To accomplish this, I created a visual identity based on a plaster self-portrait mask. This mask, featuring glasses and headphones, represented a false identity of a teenager living in their own world. This character was designed to evoke a sense of isolation and disconnect, which are common experiences for many high school students.

The resulting design was a unique and compelling visual representation of the Juventafest festival. It successfully captured the spirit of the event while conveying the essence of high school students and their experiences. Overall, the project was a testament to the power of effective design and its ability to convey complex ideas and emotions through simple, yet impactful imagery.
The International festival of high school theatre JUVENTAFEST began in 2013 with the goal of providing a high-quality cultural content for the young audience.During its six years of existence, JUVENTAFEST has hosted over 2000 participants from 13 countries and this number is constantly rising. Over 50 volunteers, mostly high school and college students or young professionals, assist with the organization. During the 5 days of the Festival, participants have many opportunities to meet each other and learn about different types of theatre. They also take part in workshops held by experts in movement, dance, music, mask, and puppetry.
