I love climbing, it quietens my busy mind. The only other activity aside from creating artwork that really brings me peace. It is my meditation, at times my therapy and my exercise... It is also the reason I now have metal pins in my leg.

I find all the various holds in climbing centres really inspiring. It’s such a different experience to climbing outside. Instead of rock faces and nature you've a sea of colourful abstract moulded shapes. I wanted to capture this experience and accentuate it to the extreme, creating vibrant and pretty psychedelic images.
