Poster Colletion: Mirrors

'Mirrors' is a poster collection about the human psíque.

Spellbound to our own humanity. When we look at our kindreds, what we see is an image. An idea, a projection, a moment, a gap. A virtual idea, inevitably formed through the lenses of our own mirrors. Even when we close the gap, for but a moment, we still cannot access the true, profound interior realities and reflections of our most loved ones. There's always a vacuum, a void. There's no buildable bridge to another's lights and shadows. But that's where we might find beauty.

We wouldn't be able to have rough textured, humanly meaningful relationships without these reflections and distorted imagery, as they are the natural byproduct of our own onirical life and subjective development. This game, where we try to find true meaning in our bonds and history, only exists because we need them to exist. The gap is what makes true, imperfect, bonds. Being away, we come closer together in the broken mirror. We are kindreds in our human way of loving ideas more than we would ever conceivably love the dull, untextured paper that is the Real.
