Food For Thought -- a visual interpretation of figurative speech
"Food For Thought is a literal interpretation of the idiomatic phrase "food for thought," meaning "something worth pondering." While working on this series, I was especially inspired by hyperrealistic fruit paintings and microphotography.
My goal for this series is to reduce an idiom to its most literal meaning through a high-detail visual.
Full Series -- mini acrylic paintings on canvases (3 x 3 in.)
