The main design element was the recreation of George Washington’s most recognizable (and shown in this exhibit) portrait using the full text of his letter that contained the phrase “to bigotry no sanction”. The portrait along with a text lock up became the de facto logo of the exhibit, and appeared on bus wraps, street banners, magazine advertisements, and on promotional merchandise.
