S3LF
We are a three-piece alternative rock band: Jet (vocals), Boom (guitar) and Mud (drums).
We compose collaboratively. there is a DIY punk sensibility about everything we do as a unit. We are queer, gender nonconforming 1/2 dyke 1/2 mutant ninja turtlez, and our politics are anarchist, feminist and intersectional. Our live shows are theatrical and our music is narrative, exploring a wider sequential space opera concept. Within this framework, the band is re-conceptualised as an intergalactic space pirate crew on a mission to save the multiverse. The work is semi autobiographical, fictionalising our personal experiences through world-building and fantasy.
