This edition of Village Here Magazine is dedicated to Gadabay's animal husbandry, people's livelihood, financial income, professions, musical traditions and musical instruments and natural waters.
Gadabay region is one of the oldest human settlements in Azerbaijan. The historical cultural monuments in the area entered our history as part of the Khojaly-Gadabay culture, which spans the 12th-7th centuries BC.According to one possibility, the name "Gadabay" comes from the name of Gadabay, who once lived here. So, in the Middle Ages, part of this land was divided between fathers and sons named Atabay, Shakarbay, and Gadabay.
Gadabay was also Atabay's son. There are still villages connected to Atabay and Shakarbay in the area. Considering the importance of Gadabay, it was separated as an independent administrative unit-district on August 8, 1930.
