ABACA - TEXTILES FOR A SOCIAL CAUSE
'ABACA' is an on-going research project intended to bring a solution for the existing problems surrounding Periods/ menstruation faced by young girls and women/ womxn of rural India.
Abaca or Musa textilis, is a species of banana native to Philippines. The plant, also known as Manila hemp, has great economic importance, being harvested for its fiber, extracted from the leaf-stems.
