Artist Statement
The reason for this project is to represent a narrative using just photos with the theme of happiness and trees, and my first thought was a day in the park. In a park, especially with little kids there is so much joy and happiness that is impossible to miss and of course being a park there is trees. So, what other best way is there than this. I also wanted a beautiful bright day and being on the winter season, the best time was the morning. Now, the wind was a great accidental addition as it started to get windy later on in the day.
In this series of photos, the scenes I used with the people leaving and coming was to represent time was passing by, and the smiles on their faces to show the happiness. The sun was used as a source of light to give brightness and also give the scene more joy. Then the wind effect help with the scene by making the trees pop out more and blowing the leaves.
