I chose the non-franchise restaurant Fannie's West African Cuisine for this assignment and redesigned their menu. Using my study of the inside and outside of their venue, identifying their audience, investigating their demographic, and price range, I attempted to express the spirit and experience of their restaurant and food via the visual language of their menu. 
(10x14) African, refined, and ornate are characteristics that would best define my menu.
(10x14) I used an elephant to give my design an African atmosphere. Did you know elephants are native solely to Africa and Asia?
(4x6) African tribal textiles were used to border my menu to highlight the African motif.
