Statement: Once upon a time, in a land I knew, when the earth was green and man the machine, heaven above and hell below, and the edge was nowhere near; a child of ideas carved letters from wood then metal, added a pedal, inked them, pressed them, and moved them around, clipped them, stitched them and words were abound.
Steam was added, Whoosh! Lead poured and presses roared, clickety-click, clickety- clack! Words were captured on film, Ah Ha! Flipped, flopped, clipped, cut, and spread, Oh Yeah! Then bits and bytes from electronic mites altered the bet, 52 to 2. Words were torn, tormented, tortured, and terminated. Oh No o o o!
Now words only barely, slowly sway. Retired to the rocker, telling stories of a land I knew, when the earth was green and man the machine, heaven above and hell below, and the edge was nowhere near.
