Brief

Find a problem within the domestic kitchen and design a product that will save space, save time or help with younger families.

Problem

“I have a garlic crusher but I don’t like it. Its too hard to squeeze and you have to scrape the garlic out. It’s hard to clean and sticks inside the little hole.”

Problem

“I have a small, medium and large grater for different applications... not really necessary, it takes up too much room. Cheese gets soggy and stuck when its washed and I cant get my hand inside."

Problem

“I do use seasonings, they give food flavour... I measure them and sometimes weigh things out yes.”

Introducing Knife Saver

The multi purpose knife range

Knife Saver is a single knife or range of knives that save the user time, space and money, all in one product. The range features a Japanese style knife that can rock and grate with a stabilising rubber tip, a dual chopping knife that speeds up cutting, a standard knife with a built in garlic crusher and a smaller knife with a zester and herb measuring cups.

Each of these can be laser etched with a company brand, linking it with AEHL’s “brand behind the brands” ethos.
