The Dodeca-Lamp can change into different colors depending on what side it sits on. It uses an accelerometer that sits on the inside of the lamp to measure what angle the lamp sits at, then the Arduino changes the NeoPixels’ colors accordingly when the lamp is flipped on different sides. The inside of the lamp where the accelerometer, Arduino, and NeoPixels are can be accessed through a lid on the lamp, which is kept in place with magnets. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable battery that can be recharged with a usb extension cord. The lamp is best to use as a large table lamp or desk lamp.
