Thegradual growth of degraded urban areas in our cities is a global problem derivedfrom the moments of maximum growth that take place in our cities withoutconsidering rehabilitation and ignoring what is already part of them. Theintervention proposals in this consolidated areas should consider that, inaddition to respond to the nowadays lifestyles necessities, it must alsoexist a previous analysis of the local conditions, to bring new coherent solutionsadapted to the singularities of each environment.
 
The intervention approach is made from housing scale, through thedevelopment of a module based in industrialized systems. The rehabilitation ofexisting buildings with this module has been conceived from outside to inside, takingthe original structure and envelope of the building. This way, the exteriorenvelop is transformed in to a container in where, as individual boxes, the systems that constitute the second envelope are introduced and become responsiblefor providing the comfort conditions needed and making the inside spaceshabitable.

With this system flexible spaces, in which their inhabitants should live for yearsand which they will need to adapt to the new situations throughout their lives, are created.It is a real story. The story about someone who wants to be able to invest hismoney in something to obtain economic and/or emotional benefits from,someone who wants to know that if the circumstances of his life change, hewould be able to have the space that he chose and adapt it to a new reality .Because of that, in the same space, it is proposed an office, a house for 1 or2 people with enough space for an independent office and a garden, a house withgarden for a whole family...
