PROCESS
The initial form was shaped by hydraulic press, then set in pitch (black) to build up the the low relief.
Repoussé and chasing the front and reverse sides,working in tandem to define the form.
The metal must be annealed and treated in an acid bath to maintain malleability.
Final details before refining the edges and patina.
