90s Animation Style Metro
This project is a simple platform scene with an animated train, rendered realtime in the Unity engine. Heavily inspired by the 1995 movie "Whisper of the Heart" and veryveig's Blender tutorials, the visual style replicates the 1990s Japanese Animation style. Selective, high contrast cel shading, black outlines for edges, and strong bloom were used as primary methods.

Props (overhead electrical lines, fences, street lights, background buildings) and the wheel/underbody section of the train were brought over from veryveig's "Blender Anime Starter Pack" assets on Gumroad.
