The goal of this project was to create an inforgaphic of a topic selected by us. An infographic is described as, a visual image that is meant to represent information or data. I chose to do my topic on television and how its evovled over the years. Television is one of the worlds most important means of communication. Television gives us, history, entertainment, and most of all current news to help us stay connected with whats going on.
I choose a wide variety of colors to represent the color bar on a television. A color bar is a test they run on television to ensure true color and tone according to the original signal. I thought this was clever and would fit perfectly with my project. The typefaces I choose was a sans serif font that is simple so the reader had an easy time reading it. My illustrations and icons all represent accessories needed for a television to work. For example, I drew an illustration of a television remote, something needed for a television. My Call to Action (CTA) was the reason why I chose this topic. My CTA is the “Parley Center for Media”.The Parley Center for Media, leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television
