Wabi Sabi & Minimal Interior Design for a private house in Ibiza, Spain.

TASK

This project's main idea was to create a cozy yet sophisticated design with a touch of natural essence.

LIVING ROOM

I've designed the living room to fulfill multiple functions, such as watching TV, reading, and resting while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.

KITCHEN

The clients are a couple who enjoy each other's company throughout the meals, so this interior focuses on human connections and the calmness they like when they cook and eat. I've designed a cozy and calm space with an earth-tone scheme. It also has a fantastic view and a ton of sunlight. At night warm lights set the scene, preparing the couple for a good night's sleep.

MAIN BATHROOM

I wanted to create a minimalist design that continues with the house's aesthetics, incorporating dry plants even in the lighting, taking advantage of the fact that this space is a dry environment.

MASTER BEDROOM

The design prioritizes functionality and simplicity through clean lines and a neutral color palette.

PRIVATE BATHROOM

This private bathroom design features a beautiful blend of natural stone and wood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The custom-built vanity adds a touch of elegance to the space, while the strategic use of lighting adds a sense of warmth and serenity.

HOME OFFICE

Natural elements, such as plants and natural light, bring the outdoors inside and create a sense of harmony.
I used plaster wall texture to add visual interest to the space while maintaining it minimalistic.

GUEST BEDROOM

Creating a warm and inviting space for guests is a top priority, and this minimalist wabi-sabi inspired guest room hits the mark. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to bring a sense of calm and comfort from the natural materials to the clean lines.

GUEST BATHROOM

I choose to keep the same aesthetic as the other bathrooms in the house, besides the fact that this design is more straightforward yet employs the same materials.
