Behemotops proteus.

A desmostylian from the Oligocene of the west coast of North America. Desmostylians are a completely extinct group of large aquatic herbivores, related to modern ungulates. It is questioned if Behemotops could move on land at all, despite its massive limbs and a body far from hydrodinamic. They would fill a unique niche grazing on shallow waters of the north Pacific.
