《alienation》
Director says: The scene is taken from a painting by American painter Edward Hopper. When I face Hopper's paintings, the alienation and loneliness of the characters in the paintings can always be empathized with, giving people a feeling of being extremely lonely despite being in a busy city and among the crowd. At the same time, Hopper's paintings reveal a kind of existential philosophy, which always makes people think about the meaning of the present existence and the source of the emptiness behind the painting. I am so lonely, but I still get solace from Hopper's paintings, which, like Bach's music, make people feel peaceful. So I created this 3D short film, which aims to explore the living dilemma of contemporary people and the alienated state of the spiritual world. I hope you can get some comfort from it. Godard once said: It is not where you quote, but the meaning of the extension.
About the character: There is no fancy setting, it does not come from the future, and it does not live in the past. It may be an ordinary person, an office worker, a social animal, or you or me. It's just that one night he decided to burn all his memories, put on a heavy metal helmet, and stop showing his true colors.
