When travelers are playing in the theme park, they want to capture the moment quickly in different place. They are in an urgent situation that have limited time to set up and balance the tripod. Although they are not professional, but they want to take some nice self-taking photos with large scenery. This design hope to help traveller shoot some outdoor photos quickly
Target User
Traveller who love taking photos with their camera may shoot in outdoor frequently. They have some requirements with the self-taking photos.
Problems of using existing tripods
1. They are inconvenient. No matter how small and collapsible a tripod is, it still occupies space and is often inconvenient to carry around or travel with.
2. They are difficult to use in crowded environments.
3. They can take time to set up, making you miss the best moment.
Ideas
Design an automatic tripod for traveler. Automatic folding umbrella structure will be the reference.

Press a button and the tripod will open automatically.
Movable top
The ball structure top can rotate 360 degrees.
Mounting plate lock
When camera connected with the plate, it stably slides and locks on the tripod.
Mid level spreader
Center column move lower when it extends. Handle are connected to the legs.
Lock
This structure helps to set different height of leg.
Portable Case
The strap hides at the top of the case. Just like the soft ruler, users can pull out the strap and connect to the bottom of the case so they can adjust the strap length easily There is a lock to fix the strap in the right length. There are magnets on the edge of both cover so the you will hear a 'click' when the case closed perfectly.
