Designing to Survive: Booklet

Designing to Survive Booklet
This assignment was an open ended project where we were told to design something with the text from an article from the Washington Post called "Designing to Survive" By Philip Kennicott. For my project I decided to put together a saddle stitched booklet. Because the Washington Post's logo has a very classical style to it, I thought it might be fun to design the booklet with that style in mind, using rule lines around images and using a serif typeface. I also employed a halftone effect to give the images a more printed look.
