I was commissioned to design a wordmark for an advertising agency — RADAR. I wanted to create something simple, powerful and easily recognisable with strong of conceptual integrity. After many hours at the drawing board i finally realised a simple execution held the answer. The essence of the brand is defined by a very simple deconstruction — a radar sweep. Typeset in DIN Schrift 1451 Mittelschrift.
The initial conceptualisation of the RADAR wordmark was developed from the structure of a radar sweep. The word RADAR being a palindrome also assisted in allowing me to deconstruct the 'R' and the 'A' substantially without loosing legibility.

Proximity activated navigation. The navigation pivots of a minimal structure. It lets you know where you are on the site as well as housing the entire navigation. Its intuitive, so when you not using it, its collapse itself into the radar device. Working with proximity, as you move your mouse closer to the radar the menu items will become available.
