Conceito/ Concept:
A coleção Morus, inspirada pela filosofia e prática da Ecologia Material, onde Neri Oxman, denota relações sistêmicas entre todo elemento presente, de produtos, aos seres, construções, aos sistemas junto aos ambientes.
O formato anatômico dos bichos de seda, atuante principal nos projetos estudados, se faz presente nos volumes e tramas de diversos modelos, detalhes que remetem às particularidades presentes nas minúcias dos mesmos.
Desenvolvida utilizando upcycling e responsabilidade material. Produção a partir da anlálise do contexto atual, com pesquisas de inovações da área.

The Morus collection, inspired by the philosophy and practice of Material Ecology, where Neri Oxman, denotes systemic relationships between every element present, from products, beings, constructions and systems together with environments.
The anatomical shape of the silkworms is present in the volumes and weaves of different models. Details that refer to the particularities present in the minutiae of the same. As well as the name of the collection, “Morus”, the genus of all plants that's used as food for silkworms, known as Morus (Nigra, Rubra or Alba) or Amoreiras, the beginnings of the entire process, as important as the process itself.
