Wild Chestnut is a bistro with a modern view on French food. The concept of the bistro is simple, clear and quick to prepare French cuisine. The main audience is young people that appreciate delicious food, but don’t have time to sit and wait for an hour in a restaurant.

Create an identity that will be remembered and convey the rebellious spirit.
Limitation: Don’t use first-level associations about France (croissants, colours of the flag, the Eiffel Tower, etc.).

Logo Concept
To make the logo easier to remember, I added an expressive character to the name. Chestnut is simple, not ideal character with a slight provocation in the look. It speaks to a young audience in the same voice and embodies the spirit of rebellion.
