Recently, I watched Jordan Peele’s Nope and I loved it! Everything from the concept, story, and visuals captivated me — I had to make something for this.

I love that line and I liked Jupe’s balloon. This was also the first time I tried my hand at illustration for a poster!

Ricky “Jupe” Park’s story is undoubtedly interesting, yet tragic. From his tour immortalizing those six minutes and thirteen seconds to his (somewhat deserved?) death, Steven Yeun does an incredible job portraying someone who both refuses to truly address and misinterprets his trauma.
A Spectacle.
What an incredibly fitting verse for this film! I’m always one for religious imagery and references, and this particular one absolutely got me. It’s holds a heavy message about exploitation and the audience is even pulled into that. We — just by watching — are contributing to the spectacle.
