Hello everyone. My name is Esau Correa, I'm from Mexico city and I'm currently studying Graphic Desing at BYU Idaho. This semester I'm taking Typography as one of my classes. For this project I was tasked with creating two different compositions using only letters and numbers, no punctuation, outlines, or color, other than black and white were allowed for this project. One composition uses a San serif font (Neue Haas Grotesk), and the other a Serif font (Semple Garamond). I created several compositions and variations but this two are the ones I decided to submit for this project.
I had a lot of fun exploring different principles of design with such basic elements. This is the first of many projects I will do this semester.

This compositon was created using the Neue Haas Grotesk Font. I like the thick shapes of this font the create a lot of impact..
This composition was created using the Stempel Garamond font. I like the elegant style of this font.
