AERO Rally Turbofan Rim/Wheel 3D Model
After modeling some well known turbofan rims and other rims, I wanted to create something own, but still with the look of turbofans. So, here is the result: the AERO Turbofan rim.
It has the typical rotor design, which sticks out over the edge of the rim to get a good air flow and therefore cool the brakes. I also put in some vents in the middle of the rim to achieve a lighter look.
Instead of a centerlock wheel nut, this version features a common layout with five wheel nuts. By that, it gets an more rally-like look.
