«Steve The Rock» represents some sort of a parody of children's books — the idea was to question the boundaries of what can be considered as a story and what can be perceived as a character.
The second book introduces interactions with regular objects that can be found in any office area, illustrating how a simple action of giving «a face» to a thing makes it notable and more sympathetic.
