Hacksaw 2.0

Design Brief
To redesign a hacksaw and make it more precise and user friendly for beginners. The goal is to add functional value to the hacksaw and make sure the universally accepted hacksaw blade is still compatible with the new design.

About The Hacksaw 2.0
The hacksaw is designed to be more comfortable and have tight fit in the hand with a specific groove for the thumb that helps in stability. The new front grip helps user maintain stability and keep the blade straight while cutting. The front grip is symmetrical that allows the user to shift it on the other side, depending on their preference.

The inspiration came from German submachine guns that were used during the WWII. These guns had a well designed front grip which allowed the soldiers to
use them for a long duration of time at a stretch with precision.
