32 | Hand-printed and bound artist’s book
32 is an artist's book created as a memorial for the 32 students and professors who lost their lives at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007. As a Virginia Tech Alumna, I was deeply affected by the tragedy that occurred at my alma mater. I used the forum of the artist's book to express the feelings I encountered when I was learning minute-by-minute about the events of that day. Expressive typography was used to give visual form to a poem I wrote about that day as well as the full names of the 32 who were lost.
