In Sweden, Midsummer was thought to be a time when mysterious and supernatural forces were in motion. Then it was possible to get a glimpse of the future by doing different rituals. One of them allowed you to find out who would be your future loved one. In the Midsummer's evening you should, in silence, pick seven different flowers and then lay them under your pillow, and so you would dream about your future sweetheart.
