While studying in Lacoste, France, I am inspired by the freshness of produce and nature that surrounds me. I love bringing humor into my work, and thus pun-broideries were born! Still a work in progress, I hope to incorprate them into some kind of accessory (bags, coin purses, hankies, etc.)

After finding a huge snail in front of my room, I knew this had to be the next pun-broidery. Started sketching up a possible idea for the composition.

I also discovered that I had an olive tree growing outside of my room. As I pick the olives, the next pun-broidery came to me. (To be continued!)
