The Tumblers
The truthfulness behind the emotion Trust highlights the transparency and honesty behind this cup. An integrative design with an open structure delivers the message of Trust. The final design aims at creating a locked grip that protects the hands from the wetness and coolness of the condensation on the glass surface.
The Grater
Anger being quite a masculine emotion, portrays its object as rough, edgy and asymmetrical. It is mainly influenced by how bodily force is applied as destruction to the surroundings. The grip looks angry yet retains its comfort and actually increases it. Due to the defined shape, the handle locks the fingers and palm in place in order to avoid any unnecessary turning especially when hands are slippery. It is a safe positioning of the hand and the curvilinear form acts as a warning sign to where the hands should not go. The handle is thick enough to separate the user’s palm from their finger tips, that position gives power to the semi-contracted muscles of the forearm, upper arm and shoulders making it quite efficient according the line of pull in mechanics. Finally the color red acts as one of the main factors to affect the user subconsciously, alerting them to the job they are carrying out carefully.

The Whisk
Different directions or order are the reason for chaos. Confusion is a very chaotic object that is completely asymmetrical, and diversifying for the eyes’ focus. The complexly dense wires of the whisk serve its function quite well since it creates havoc and chaos in the paste that is being mixed. The denser the whisk the faster the mixing of the paste. The color purple is very mysterious yet sophisticated which is what the whisk communicates through its function. The handle of the whisk in reality would be hard plastic in order to be durable yet still comfortable to touch.
The Ice-Cream Scoop

The design of this scoop, for example, is aiming to indulge one in “Happiness”. It was previously noted in the  experiments that its a relatively big object with a glossy finish. Removing the elongated handle of the regular ice cream scoop brings the action closer to the user and involves them more in the process, making them part of it. Yellow was found in the experiments stage to be the happiest colour (according to the sample) bringing us back to childhood, fun and not being afraid to try.
