As a self- taught knitter I wanted to explore the tradition of knitting and the story-telling attributes that are carried with the act of passing on a tradition. I travelled from California to Israel to Czech Republic to meet relatives and meet fellow artists along the way- sharing stories and exchanging crochet/ knitting projects and tips. The project came out of collaborative show thesis to break down pedagogies of teaching between different generations.
