Burning is a project that features photographs of a carefully-lit fire, with lightening elements of clothing or props. Fire is symbolic of cleansing the past and giving light to the future. The photos were taken intuitively at times of life changes, like finishing high school and going to study abroad, experiencing cultural differences, having more responsibilities and becoming an adult. Fire represents new beginnings, personal growth and change.
