News Network branding

I was very excited to be asked by Jane Velez-Mitchell to brand her news network. She wanted something that felt hard-hitting, needing urgent action. I immediately thought of the news ticker which always conveys very urgent pertinent information. With this in mind, I elected to lay out the entire logo in italics so it feels fast, dynamic and important. I selected a bright red as it's most visible, especially with the black and white. And I selected DIN as it's a simplistic modern condensed font. We had the logo printed on sustainable hats as well, as caring for our planet and those that live here is an extremely important value to our company.
