Hewlett Packard (HP) held its annual Large Format Academy in Malta and I was tasked with creating large format graphics for the whole event (billboards, trade-show banners, signage, etc...)

 

I created this symbol that combines the Maltese cross, the "+" sign used by HP as well as converging arrows to reflect the concept of people gathering from all around to an event.

 

These banners shown above were displayed outside of the exhibition center.

A common image of a beach was chosen by HP as a common element for the event. I chose to indicate the different areas of the exhibition by giving the image a treatment that reflected each speciality.
