Watt Time is a startup in the bay area focused on creating a greener energy grid in not just California but nation wide. I designed and coded a new logo and landing page as well as a mobile app. The new logo's icon takes imagery from a windmill (clean energy) to make a direction connection between the branding and the mission.
The Watt Time app allows people to know when the energy grid is being supplied by a clean energy source, versus something like a coal factory. They can then schedule differing activities, such as charging an electric car, at times when they are supporting green energy.
The app has a convenient list view which not only gives the cleanliness of the energy grid at the current time, but also lists our how clean the grid will be throughout the day. The app then allows you to schedule activities at the cleanest times.
