Beck’s ÜBERSELEKTOR is a fully rounded campaign which targets users before, during and after the event and acts as an additional stream of digital dialogue and content for festival participants. Offering real-time information from the venues, interviews with artists and photo booths, ÜBERSELEKTOR is a physical presence at the festivals as well as connecting to social media hubs and online communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and YouTube.
The logo and branding are inspired by Berlin artworks, Bauhaus and electronic music world. On the microsite, an abstract lines network guides the user to an underground universe, where 2D transforms into 3D and where waterfalls of lights burst forth from the darkness. This network leads the users to the social media platforms.
ÜBERSELEKTOR campaign won the IAB Australia Creative Showcase Grand Prix.
