Motion Graphic Design for IDA
IDA, the Intuitive Data Analysis, is a digital platform developed for sales managers and directors. The system allows them to upload their complex retail business documents, and provide them an easy way to interact with the visualized data.
Below are some loading motion graphic design that I designed for different phases and content for IDA.
Loading system
I basically play around with the idea of a drip of water drop into the ocean (referring the Blue Ocean, which is the initial searching engine in IDA), representing where it all start. Graphic then show IDA analyzing the document and visualize them into bar and pie charts. At the end I wrap up the animation with a done check by the side.
Final
Downloading data / exporting document
Three design ideas of downloading / exporting data :
1. Wrapping data then fly out representing export action
2. Arrow moves downward representing downloading data, showing graphs to represent the data
3. Shows download then loading action, finish with complete a check in the end
Loading grid / map
1. Grids contains complex and diverse retail business data
2. Maps loading retail business hotspots around the states
3. Loading general information
Gesture hints
1. / 2. Loading AI Bubble: AI Bubble is a special function enable users to intuitively switch around values of X / Y / Z axises for data comparison
3. Adding / Removing column: Adding or removing presented data by dragging bubbles on or out of of the grid
Gesture hints - changing chart display type
By drawing certain gesture on the open space on the screen, displayed information can be easily switched in-between: Bar chart (vertical) / Donut chart / Bar chart (horizontal) / Line graph / Pie chart
