INGRESS, EGRESS, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

Ingress, Egress, and Everything in Between

The exhibit is such a roller coaster experience. Since it was my first time being with some of these people, I was understandably agitated.

My friends Pam and Arianne and I offered to participate on the production team. We were tasked with organizing, designing, and decorating the AVR.

We were initially hesitant to share our thoughts and concerns because we were unfamiliar with some of them. But because everyone was so friendly and nice, we soon started to come out of our shells.
Due to unforeseen events, several planning details were altered at the last minute, requiring everyone to create new plans, which I think, we did great.
We began preparing the day before the exhibit. We split up the tasks: some of us made the small boxes for the arc, and the others painted the large boxes where the pictures will be placed.

On the day of the exhibit, I arrived at around 8:00 AM. Then I resumed in painting the remaining boxes and assisted in completing the arc as well.

Pam and I afterwards added decorations and put the images within the painted boxes that we had earlier prepared.
After the exhibit, we then removed the pictures and rearranged the boxes.
I'm not new to being able to participate to the production. But the journey this event took is what sets it apart from the others for me.

Although it wasn't ideal for newly-introduced people to come up with plans and share a common vision, it still succeeded.

I suppose that, in addition to the experiences and insights I gained from the exhibit, it is the camaraderie and fun memories that I will always treasure.
