En agosto ya pasó el clima más duro de Julio, aún siguen fuertes lluvias pero queda la esperanza de que se acerca la primavera. Los acordeonistas practican una "Pericona" ritmo típico de la Isla de Chiloé. En la playa se ve al "Chelle" ave por la cuál se le puso el nombre a "Chilwé". Todo esto en "Chezungun" que es el idioma de los "Williches" gente del sur y pueblo originario del inicio de la Patagonia. Lamentablemente las tradiciones se van perdiendo, los hijos y las hijas viajan a las grandes ciudades para estudiar carreras alejadas de la agricultura y la vida en el campo. La visión de progreso no está en su isla, está fuera en las concentraciones urbanas que gozan de riquezas de panoramas culturales y casas educativas. Los padres se quedan solos en el nido, cultivando sus tierras y llevando la pesada vida del campo. Pero no todo es soledad, las comunidades se organizan y generan "trawunes" o encuentros para conversar sobre el presente, pasado o futuro, tejiendo redes comunitarias.
In August the harshest climate of July has passed, heavy rains are still continuing but there is hope that spring is coming. The accordionists practice a "Pericona" rhythm typical of the Island of Chiloé. On the beach you can see the "Chelle" bird for which the name "Chilwé" was named. But not everything is lonely, the communities organize themselves and generate "träwun" or meetings to talk about the present, past or future, weaving community networks.
