Original photo of the project "Color Studies", in DDN (Design Thinking) class. It is a tree frog hanging between two branches.
This is the Monochromatic drawing done in photoshop of the frog. I wanted to do a gesture like drawing of the tree frog and added some different textures. Plus the color swatches for the Monochromatic.
This is the Complementary drawing of the tree frog. I went with a unique design and focused on the lining and details. I also included the color swap for the Complementary drawing.
The next drawing I had done is the Split Complementary version of the tree from. Because the Complementary drawing had a design on the frog, I wanted to something similar to this frog but put a different texture in it. Below is the Split Complementary color swatches.
Lastly, this is the Tetrad drawing of the tree frog. Because Tetrad is the opposite colors, I wanted to do the opposite style of the frog's texture. In the original the frog has a smoother coat but in my drawing I incorporated a bumpy texture coat on the frog. Added below is the color swatches for the Tetrad drawing.
