You are to produce an A2 Broadsheet newspaper. The puplication should include three pages including a masthead/ front page, an editorial article on a designer or art movement, and an alphabetical listings page. The newspaper must take on an ‘upmarket’ feel, rather than emulating tabloid style design. Close attention should be paid to the to the treatment of typographical elements such as headings, sub-headings, body copy, grids, captions etc. One of your pages should be composed as a duotone.

 

I have produced Zeitgeist, an art and design themed newspaper, which keeps readers up to date with the spirit of the times of the creative industries. I have included an editorial page on Dada and Cubism, and a duo-tone listings page on the letter ‘P’.
